Named after the Spanish word for “love me,” Amame /ˈa-ma-mei / creates skincare that loves your skin, the organic way. We keep things super simple (think: fewer ingredients, higher concentrations), sustainable (recycle that packaging!), and high-standard. How high, you ask? USDA-certified organic high. 

To understand why that matters, just take a look at our roots. Amame was founded in 2018 by Sasha LoPresti, a VP in the agriculture industry. Working in the food industry led Sasha to become a proponent of eating clean, organic foods harvested sustainably without the use of pesticides. Then she realized: If she held her food to that standard, why let her skincare fall short? She wanted something better, something she could trust. So she started experimenting in her own kitchen.     

After mixing up a promising prototype, Sasha worked with a lab to bring what would become Amame’s first product, our Organic Rosehip & Hemp Seed Body Serum, to life—without losing its farm-grown roots. Today, we offer products that are USDA-certified organic—a standard we’ll strive to achieve whenever possible—and Leaping Bunny-certified as well. We’ve got big plans, and a big promise to provide you with sustainable, simple, and certified-organic products for your daily life.
