Amame Ingredients

How are Amame ingredients sourced?

Our ingredients are sourced domestically and overseas. Unfortunately, not all desired ingredients are grown domestically in the US. We do not use any animal ingredients or ingredients derived from petroleum. Crop sustainability and biodegradability are taken into account when sourcing ingredients. Amame avoids any ingredients which pollute the earth and/or add to landfills. We love our planet!

Do Amame products use water?

For now, our strategy is to limit the use of water in products and eliminate it where possible. This is for multiple reasons. First, water is a scarce resource, and in an effort to create the most sustainable products possible, we’re trying to avoid the addition of water. Also, for many products, water is not necessary for efficacy. If water is required for use, it can usually just be added by the consumer at the time of use, like adding water to a powder in order to transform it into a face mask.
